New Year's

Another year is coming to a close tonight. I can't believe it. There were a lot of good things about 2010 that I definitely love looking back at. I am so curious to see what 2011 brings. I have been seeing people post their new year's resolutions on Facebook and have been contemplating what mine are going to be. So here is what I have come up with so far.
My 2011 Resolutions:
1. I am going to lose weight. My goal is to lose at least 30 pounds.
(This year I actually have some motivation. Thanks to a girl I went to high school with)
2. Visit all the temples in Utah.
3. Work hard not to procrastinate.
(especially when it comes to school work)
4. Do good things for friends, family, and other people.
5. And be a good wife.

I hope that everyone has an amazing New Year's! Be safe! =) I can't wait to watch the ball drop and kiss my hubby! (All together now, EWW! Haha.)
Welcome 2011 (in a couple hours)!!!! I am excited to see what is going to happen this year and this decade!

Merry Christmas!

I sure hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday season and a merry Christmas! Adam and I spent Christmas with his family! It was such a blast! I loved learning all of their traditions that they have! Last night we went and drove around the neighborhood and looked at lights! One house had lights that dance along to a radio station! That was so much fun to see! This morning we woke up around 8 and opened presents! My husband is a sweetie! Let's just say that! =) Our niece was absolutely adorable opening her presents. She is only one and a half and I think it wore her out a little bit. We had a wonderful lunch and then I had to come to work at 3. It was very hard to leave my family but it is pretty quiet at work so it's not so bad. I get off work at 11 so it doesn't leave much time to do much else but we are going to Ogden tomorrow to see my parents.
Hope everyone is having a blessed Christmas! Much love!

Fall Semester

I am finally done with fall semester!! I can't tell you how happy I am that it is over. It didn't end the way I had thought but hopefully next semester will go a little better. Anyway...yesterday I had the whole day off from work and school!! It was fantastic to not have to get up to do homework or anything. Unfortunately, Adam still had one more final but he is done now as well. We spent most of the day playing video games and watching movies. It was absolutely fantastic! Sometimes I love not having a care in the world and just being able to be with my huns buns. =)
Anyway...then I went Christmas shopping with some of my best buds..Kris and Grace. I finally found some stuff for Adam! Yay!!!! Now I have to wait til pay day to finish all of my shopping! Yay for shopping 3 days before Christmas! Haha.
We went on a date with the Fortuna's this last Friday! We had dinner at Cafe Rio, went to an endowment session at the Salt Lake Temple (which was awesome because neither Leah or I had been to one since we had done our own), and then we walked around and looked at lights. It was a ton of fun! I love this time of year minus the cold.  Haha. I am so excited for Christmas! This year we are spending it with my in-laws. The only downer is that I have to work from 3-11. Oh well. I always find ways to have fun with my coworkers and maybe sing a carol or two to some patients.
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! =)

A Long Time Coming

Hi Everybody its Adam making my debut post on our family blog. It has been a crazy past couple of weeks so I thought I would mention a few things that meant something to me.
I went into the hospital on the 17th. It was not a joyous occasion but we had put up a good fight and lasted 7 months so I was happy. I was able to stay out for some very important events so I was happy. Specifically I am happy I was able to be there with my honey when she went through the temple for the first time. I was also very happy to be there on our 1 year anniversary when my sweetheart and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the temple. These were the best times of my life.
Sadly, because I did go into the hospital on the 17th I was "in" for Thanksgiving and even more sadly for my dear wifeys birthday. Thanksgiving was made wonderful by my thoughtful and considerate in-laws who provided a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for us in our hospital room. Family again was most helpful in celebrating my loves birthday. Both family's sent wishes and cupcakes and showed their love for us. I tried to do my best to make my sweetums birthday in the hospital as bearable as possible. I had a good teacher because she helped me celebrate last year when I was "in" on my birthday, she did an amazing job. I tried my best and hoped she had a good birthday.
Many cool things have happened since I got "out," but for now this will have to do (I gotta keep something for next time.) Until next time keep your stick on the ice.

Train - Shake Up Christmas - Coca-Cola Version

Best Sunday Ever!!! ♥

I spent all day with my hunny and it was such a wonderful Sunday.
We slept in and missed church which wasn't what we intended to do. But we were both so exhausted after the past two weeks.
We got up and had lunch then played Star Wars Legos.
Adam did his treatment and I cleaned up around the house and made cookies.
Then we decorated for Christmas!!!
I love decorating!

Festival of Trees

Last night my mother-in-law took me to the Festival of Trees. It was my first time going and I absolutely loved it. Adam and my father-in-law came with us. I am not sure how excited they were about it but it was nice to spend time with them. I love all things Christmas as long as it is after Thanksgiving of course.
We weren't able to get through all of the trees and stuff they had there. I wish I had gone another day to see it all. But there is always next year!
My phone isn't that great at taking pictures but here are a few of my favorite things I saw.

Princess Tree

Harry Potter Tree

Home sweet home!

We are home!!!
I am currently laying in our bed just loving every minute of it!! =) I am so happy to be home and be able to go out and about with my huns buns. We even treated ourselves to a movie! Well actually Adam's friend and sister treated us to a movie! Thanks Mike and Liz! We went to see Tangled! It was such a good movie! If you haven't seen it, go now! =) Next we want to see Harry Potter!
I am so thankful for all of staff that took care of Adam. We had a pretty good stay and made more friends of course. If there is one thing you need to know about Adam it's that he can make friends very easily.
Anyway...
I started a blog on Cystic Life (it is a community for anyone who has CF or knows someone with CF.) It is a great support site and has a lot of information. So if you have or know anyone that has CF you should join. It's helpful!
Did I mention that I love being home!!?!?! =)
Also, want to say happy birthday to Leah and Mike! Hope you guys had great birthdays!
