Spring break!!!

WAHOO!!!!! It is spring break!! I am so so so so so excited!! And so far it has been pretty good! Yesterday, I got my hair done! I am practically a blondie now! ;) You can't tell that much here but I love it! I think it is way fun! Thanks Leiat for always making me look awesome! =)

After that, Adam and I had dinner with Katie and Zac! It was so much fun! I haven't seen Katie since the wedding (or at least that is what if felt like!) and I sure missed them! =) I am so glad we got to hang out and hope that we can do something else soon! Then, I went and hung out with Kristina and Grace! We walked around Gateway for a bit! It was a lot of fun! I can't wait to hang out with people more over break! Yay! 

                                                                                                                                                                    I felt bad for being away from my hunny for a while so I went and bought him The Dark Knight! It was on sale! Also, I bought myself Just Dance for the Wii! Which was also on sale! I can't wait to go home and try it out! =) 

 

Today I am at work and tomorrow we are going to Ogden with the family to go to Spencer's farewell. He is going to Costa Rice! (This is Adam's cousin). It should be fun! I am excited!

I only work one day next week and will hopefully get some of my internship hours done! FINALLY!!!! I am looking forward to a break from work and school for a little bit! It will be nice and I am going to soak up every last moment of fun I can! Yay! =) Oh and hopefully we will be gearing up to move into the new place! I am dreading the thought of packing up our place though! Good thing it isn't too far from where we are now! So hopefully we won't have to pack too much!

Happy St. Patty's Day

I hope everyone had a great St. Patty's Day! And I sure hope you wore your green! 

I had to pinch Adam this morning when he came to me wearing a RED

shirt! I don't know what he was thinking!

We didn't really do anything fun today but our friend, Erin came over!

She was originally going to come for a green dinner

but we had to change our plans because I had a class meeting for my nature photography

class. We are going on a field trip to Capitol Reef! Our trip is over Easter weekend which 

kind of stinks but oh well. I have to do it to graduate! 

(Oh and speaking of graduating, I am graduating in Summer 2011! Wahoo!! And Adam will be getting his associates degree at the end of the semester! Yay!)

Anyway..so Erin came over and brought us yummy cupcakes!

And they all had green frosting on them or some kind of green topping!

We also made green milk!

It was a delicious afternoon snack! 

We are still waiting to hear if we will be moving into the new place! I think we might have made a better case for ourselves today! But I guess we'll see!

March Madness!

This month has been absolutely crazy! School, work, Adam, family and friends have been keeping me busy! At the beginning of March, I went to a team leader meeting for the Great Strides walk coming up in May! (Don't forget to sign up for the walk!) I will have more details about the meeting on my other blog, so check that out too! We will hopefully be doing some fundraising stuff soon! More info to come! =)

Work has just been absolutely insane for the most part. Every time I am at work it seems like we have a million deliveries and people going home! It takes so much out of my sometimes! And school hasn't been too bad but sometimes doing both work and school becomes overwhelming. I have spent this month wanting to sleep and relax. I haven't felt like doing too much. Hopefully spring break will bring some R&R.

Also, I have been trying to do my internship but that has just been a joke. But today, I finally figured out what the problem was and will hopefully be able to start! Yay!

Anyway...so I have been looking for a new place for Adam and I to move into because the place we are in is a little too small for us it seems.Well a couple weeks ago, one of our friends from church approached Adam and said we should try and move into the place next to them. They live in a triplex type deal. So we went to look at it and fell in love with it. We filled out an application and are still waiting for the people to give us an exact answer. They have called and asked us questions about whether we would be able to afford it and if we had given our 30 day notice to our current landlord. We are hoping to hear from them today! *Fingers crossed*
Adam and I saw Alice in Wonderland, the day it came out! And we saw it in 3D and it was awesome! I totally loved that movie! I loved that they took a classic and added to the story. Not just redoing it! Yay!

Adam has a doctors appt at the end of this month! I am nervous to see how is PFTs are! Hopefully they are still good and hopefully he will be feeling good. They are going to start him on a new medication  called Cayston that he will do through a nebulizer!  He does a medication called Tobi and he does it every other month so this medication will be every off month of Tobi. Hopefully it will help some! We are trying very hard to keep him out of the hospital! And so far it has worked! Yay!! He hasn't been in since October!! I am so proud of him for working so hard!

Other than that nothing else is going on. Hope everyone has a great St. Patty's Day!! =)

Lent

So the other day Adam asked me if I wanted to do Lent this year. I thought that would be an awesome idea. Even though I am not Catholic anymore, I think it is always a good idea to make yourself better! So after some thinking of what to do, I told Adam that I want to do some kind of physical activity and try to eat better! Adam is hopefully going to do that with me and he isn't going to eat peach rings. Haha. I asked Adam if I should try and not eat so much chocolate and he laughed at me and said "not a chance." I don't think he wants me to give up the one thing that keeps me sane. But I am definitely going to try and not eat so much crap and eat better! We are a little late on starting but I started today. So hopefully we'll be able to keep up our Lent goal. Wish us luck! =)

My hubby:

is absolutely amazing and I want to take a minute to appreciate him! =)

He makes me dinner all the time and it is usually delicious
He is doing what he can to be responsible for his family
He drives me to work on mornings I have to work
He puts up with me when I get frustrated and tries to help me through it
He is very forgiving
He always knows how to make me laugh
He brings me flowers when I am sad
He is very helpful around the house
He is accepting of my chocolate addiction ;)
He is so cute with kids
He is always making new friends and isn't afraid to talk to people
He is so laid back
He supports me in my decisions
He is so smart, S M R T ;)
He helps me with my homework, even if it is just sitting with me on the couch 
He is overall the best man I could have ever asked for and I am thankful for him everyday that he is in my life! I love you Adam! You are my best friend and I am so happy that I get to spend my life with you! =) I appreciate everything you do for me! Happy Valentine's week! 

Back into the swing of school!

School started up again on the 11th! Adam and I are both taking classes. Adam is taking some at SLCC. He seems to like them for the most part even though he is in class all day on Tuesday. I am very proud of him and I know he will do well. I am taking 3 classes but only one of them is technically on campus! It is pretty crazy for me to have such a light load but it is kind of nice for a change. The one thing I am really excited about is that this semester I actually have an internship! =) Yay! I will be at St. Mark's Hospital working with a recreational therapist and patients on physical rehab. I am so stoked! =) I start the being of February!

Other than that life has been pretty good! We are still getting used to married life! And that definitely isn't easy sometimes but I love it! I wouldn't trade it for the world. We are just enjoying each other and the time we get to spend together! We took some pictures with Tanya in our wedding clothes! We went to the Salt Lake Temple. It was a lot of fun!  I am very excited for our first Valentine's day together! I am not sure what we are going to do but we plan on celebrating the day before and then we are spending Valentine's day with Adam's family. It is my brother-in-law's birthday! Hope everyone enjoys their Valentine's day! =)

My 1st Christmas with Adam! And New Year's too! =)

What a wonderful Christmas it was! It was the best thing in the world to spend it with him and not be alone this year. Unfortunately, I was not able to spend Christmas with my mom and godmother last year because I worked and there was a bad snow storm. So we had Christmas on Christmas Eve and then I went home so I didn't get trapped in the storm. Anyway...Adam and I bought little stockings for each other to go on our cute little pseudo fireplace. We decided to open those before we headed to Ogden for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Adam got me a new SD card because I somehow lost my other one and some socks. I got him a giftcard to GameStop and a Reese's Tree. =) Slyly, I asked Adam what he wanted to get with his giftcard and he told me he wanted to get the first BattleFront which is a Star Wars video game that he loves! Little did he know that I had already bought it for him! Hehe!

On Christmas Eve, we headed to my mom's house. We did some food shopping and then went to the Christmas lights downtown! It was a lot of fun but we were freezing!!! They have cute little decorated playhouses! And one of them had Santa marrying an elf couple! =) We thought it was appropriate sine we didn't get married too long ago.

Then, we went back home and got to open a present. That has been a tradition with my family for a while. Probably just to keep me calm. Ha! Anyway..we went to bed because we didn't want to get caught awake! ;) The next morning, we woke up and opened our presents! It was a great Christmas!!! We had so much fun! After we opened presents, Adam and I went back to bed for a bit and then watched Night at the Museum and Harry Potter 6 with my mom. 

Then, New Year's we spent with Adam's family. It was a little rough but it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed spending time with family! And I got to kiss my love at midnight which was the best part of it all. =) 

I remember saying 2009 was going to be the best year ever because 2008 was not the best! And it turned out to be the best year of my life. I can't believe all of the changes and all of the wonderful events that happened to me. I was very blessed with happiness and love! I sure hope that 2010 will bring me the same! I hope everyone has a very blessed year!! =) And thanks to everyone who made 2009 the best year I could ever ask for!
