Dear Baby Soderborg

This is the letter I wrote to our baby after I cheated and found out I was pregnant.


Dear Baby Soderborg,

Today I found out that you are actually in my belly. The last several weeks I wasn't sure if what I was feeling was you or if it was my imagination. We are supposed to have my blood drawn on Tuesday to find out the results but today I was cramping and I couldn't take it anymore. Two weeks is too long to wait and I have been driving myself crazy so I decided to take a pregnancy test. When I saw the word PREGNANT, I almost died! I yelled at your dad that the test said I was pregnant and he looked at me really shocked. I told him what I did and that I couldn't take it anymore.

Right now you are a twinkle in our eyes but we are so excited to have you as a part of our lives. We will love you and cherish every moment we get to be with you! You have been worth the wait! I hope that on Tuesday we still get a positive and in 9 months you will be a part of our family. You don't know it yet but so many people already love you and are so excited for you.

I wish that I could tell someone so that is why I am writing this blog! The emotion is overwhelming and I am so excited to be creating a life. Depending on what the outcome is on Tuesday, we are going to reveal the news on Thursday to your grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
