Day 5 and 6!

I missed yesterday! Oops! It was kind of a long day. Hope everyone had a great Cinco de Mayo. We went to my BFAW's (best friend at work) graduation from nursing school! It was a great graduation! I almost cried! Haha. She has work really hard and I was really proud of her! =) Then Adam and I went to Del Taco and had some 29 cent tacos! It was awesome!

Anyway.... here is my fact about CF for the day!! One way to clear the airway!

Clearing the Airways

People with cystic fibrosis do airway clearance techniques (ACT) to loosen and get rid of the mucus from the lungs. Clearing mucus helps to reduce the severity of lung infections and improve lung function.

Some airway clearance techniques require help from family members, friends or therapists. Adults with cystic fibrosis can do many airway clearance techniques themselves.

One technique is called “postural drainage and percussion.” People with cystic fibrosis sit, stand or lie in a position that will help free up mucus as their chest and back are pounded or clapped. Sometimes a patient will use a mechanical “vest,” or blow into a device that shakes the mucus loose, to help clear their airways.

The whole entire Easter weekend was 

amazing for me! Here is a little run down.

Friday involved this:

Breakfast with Emily, Amy, and Dominic. It was part of Emipalooza (this is a series of things Emily does for her birthday so if you can't make it to one then it is likely you can make it to something). We went to the Park Cafe and it was delicious! 

Then I hung out with my P.I.C. That was fun as usual! =)

Saturday looked like this:

This is what happens when your parents tell a story of how this happened to another child a few nights before and with the exact color of dye! It was funny!

We colored Easter eggs with our neighbors! It was a lot of fun! They were really creative with their eggs. After that we hid eggs in the backyard for the kids to find and then had an egg roll! That was definitely a good day! 

Later that night, Adam and I went to Clinton and saw our cousin's Cari and Paul. Cari was having a graduation party! There was good food, good people, and good games! We had a blast. We even made some new friends! Other cousins were there as well! 

Sunday was Easter! It went like this:

then,

Geocacheing! 

We went with Adam's brother, Curtis. It was awesome and a little chilly! We did find both of the geocaches we were looking for! 

Then, we went back to the house and Adam was teaching me how to play the piano. I've always wanted to learn and it is pretty fun so far. I hope to learn more. =)

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!! :)

Yay!!! I am just excited and had to share!! Adam asked me to be his girlfriend on Thursday night!! :D I am so happy! I can't even explain the feelings I have!!

We had a picnic yesterday and surprisingly the weather stayed nice for us! It was a lot of fun and then we went and watched Robin Hood! Did you know that Little John and Baloo from the Jungle Book do the same dance!?!?! (Courtesy of Adam!)

We decided to match! Sort of! We are kind of dorks like that! But it is always fun! It was especially fun trying to pick clothes that matched and having his dad help us the night before.

The last time we matched was a couple of weekends ago and we went to his friends house for a yummy dinner!! :)

I can't believe tomorrow is Easter!! Yay for being able to drink coffee!! I made it the 40 days without drinking it with the exception of when I went to San Francisco. That was just for safety purposes so I could stay awake while driving! I have to work tomorrow which kind of sucks but I will probably go to my mom's house on Monday to hang out and have Easter dinner there.

I also got to spend some time with some coworkers last night! It was a blast! I went and played Bingo with Skyler and he friends and then met up with Emily for EMIPALOOZA!!! :)

Well I am supposed to go to Adam's friends birthday party tonight! It should be fun! I'll try and keep this updated as much as possible! Have a Happy Easter!!!
