Adam is the best thing since sliced bread. Honestly!

I came home from work to find this:

WE HAVE A LIVING ROOM!!! It isn't just full of boxes! It is actually livable! It was one of the sweetest things he's ever done for me! =) And what was even more awesome was that his dad helped him! =) I love the way it is set up and I can't wait to have people over! Yay! Happy Earth Day!

Surgery

Adam had a sinus surgery today just to clear up some polyps. polyp is an abnormal growth of tissue projecting from a mucous membrane. He went down to the preoperative room around 7:45 and went in for surgery at about 8:30. I hung out with him until they took him back and then I came back to our room and showered. His mom showed up and kept me company in the wrong waiting room. We eventually made it to the right place, we wait for a couple minutes and after the receptionist called me Mrs. Soderborg (which was totally weird by the way.) Then we got to see Adam. The nurse said he sailed through the surgery and was recovering quite nicely. She was a very sweet lady and boasted my hunny's ego when he looked in the mirror to see his nose and said he was a handsome man. =)
I was able to stick around until he got back to his regular room. Then I had to go class where I didn't pay a whole lot of attention. I realized that for the first time I was responsible for someone. So after class I ran home to get more clothes since we will be here for a couple more days. He is doing pretty well minus some pain but things seem to be moving along smoothly. Adam will hopefully be able to go home! I can't wait to be out in the sunshine and take my hubby home! =)

Hospital visit

Adam stayed out of the hospital for 5 months and a couple days!! =) But he was admitted again this last Wednesday. He was admitted because his PFTs (pulmonary function test) were down and he wasn't feeling all that great. It was kind of hard to hear that he was going to be admitted since this past weekend was the weekend I was going to be out of town for a school field trip. (I went to Capitol Reef for a nature photography class. It was pretty awesome and I made a new friend!) It was going to be hard to be away from him in the first place but it was going to be especially hard with him in the hospital! But I made it through the weekend and came back to my hunny on Easter! We didn't really do anything! We have eggs that my mom in law gave us and we have yet to paint them! And we were going to color eggs with dye but we don't have a stove or anything to boil them with at the hospital! So we will probably celebrate when Adam gets out of the hospital. Ha! We never celebrate holidays on time! It makes me laugh!

Anyway. It's been a week since Adam was admitted! Time sure has flown by! He had to do his PFTs again today. They went up but not as much as he would have liked! But he made significant improvement and I am very proud of him! Only one more week to go! Feel free to come visit us! We have lots of candy! Also, we have a mini claw machine! You heard me right! A mini claw machine! It is totally awesome. My in-laws got it for us as a house warming present!

We did move into that new apartment and we totally love it! It still has a bunch of boxes in it! I can't wait to get home and finish unpacking it all. I am so glad we finally got to move in! Wahoo!

Also, I have been working at my internship FINALLY! Wahoo! It's been fun and quite interesting. I am nervous to interview the patients but I am going to have to do it this week! Yikes! I hope I don't make a fool of myself!

I will put pictures of recent adventures up soon! =) Hope everyone had a great Easter and have a great rest of the week!
