Contemplating

Sometimes I really wish I could think of something creative to blog about.
There just isn't anything too exciting going on in our life.
We've just both been working and I've been going to school.
Boring!
Maybe another day I'll think of something exciting to blog about.
The only thing I can think of is that we had a visit from a missionary that I very much connected with while I was taking the discussions.
Ryan is the one on the left of me.

He came in the first week and everything he said made sense to me. He made he feel really comfortable and didn't confuse me. He answered any question that I had. He also thought that he wouldn't be around much longer because he was due for a transfer. But week after week he came back and it made me very happy. It wasn't until a week or so after I was baptized in August that he was finally transferred. I definitely think he was supposed to be there through my journey.
Anyway...it was really good to see him for a few hours and catch up! =)

Keeping up with the Soderborgs

Where has the time gone!?!?!
August just flew by!
Here is a synopsis of what we did and some pictures!

Adam started his new job at the beginning of the month. He will be training for 4 to 6 weeks. So he is almost done with that. He seems to really like it.
My sister-in-law and niece were here for 2 weeks. My brother-in-law came for a weekend.
Then, we spent a weekend with Adam's family. We went to Mirror Lake and we hiked, played games, ate, laughed and had a blast!
Here are pictures! (Not in any particular order.)

Now school started today! This should be my last year! I hope nothing unexpected happens this semester. I hope it is the best year ever! =)

More produce from our garden!

Our tomatoes finally started to turn red
We picked some this evening and I am so excited to try them!
We also got another cucumber.
I never thought it would be this much fun to grow our own food.
Here are some pictures:

Yay for vegetables!
Our other vegetables that we planted:
carrots
pumpkins (which are doing really well. I think we have 8 or so pumpkins starting)
beans
lettuce
squashes of all kinds
onions
strawberries

I had planted some flowers as well but I think our garden people tilled without knowing. I was a little upset when I came home and found out what had happened. There were some that were starting to bud but I don't think they survived and I am not sure if any will come up. I guess I will have to plant some more soon.

Anyway...Adam started his new job yesterday! For the first two days he was in orientation and now he will start training for a month or so. We'll find out if he actually likes the job tomorrow. *crossing my fingers*

Also, my sister-in-law and niece are going to be in town later tonight and I can't wait to see them tomorrow! They are going to be here for a while and later this month we are going to Mirror Lake as a family. My brother-in-law will also be joining us then.

August is going to be a super busy month!
There will be weddings, births, family, friends and dun dun dun....school!
