Christmas season!

Adam and I have been getting for ready for Christmas time! And the past couple weeks have been so much fun! First, we went to my parents house to put up the tree there! It was awesome! Putting up the tree is one of my favorite things to do and my kitties always have to be a part of it too. It's good times. Then we put up our tree at our place. We got a couple ornaments to commemorate our first Christmas together!

Then, we had a Christmas party at our ward. We were to make a breakfast item and it was supposed to be a Christmas tradition. Well since we don't have any traditions quite yet, we decided to make muffins. We made cranberry muffins which seem to be our favorite so far and I made eggnog muffins. I don't think they came out all that well. We also were supposed to wear Christmas PJ's but we didn't have any so we bought some Christmas PJ pants with Snoopy and Woodstock on them. =) The party was fun. We ate and mingled and then we sang some Christmas carols.

One of the respiratory therapists, Steve gave us tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert!  It was a blast. Natalie Cole and David Mccullough were the special guests. The concert was great! It was my first time ever going. Steve also sent us to dinner too! We went to Tocanos to eat! We were stuffed! But it was good food! Thanks Steve!

Now, I am just finishing up the semester and then it will be time to play! =) I am so excited for Christmas. We are going to go to Ogden for the weekend of Christmas! I can't wait! Hope everyone is having a great Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa season!!

I'm officially a Soderborg!! And Monday was my birthday and now it is Thanksgiving

Today is my 23rd birthday! And it has been a great day! Adam has spoiled me most of the day. I had class but he baked a cake we made for my Italian class and brought it up for me! It was quite yummy too especially because it had 20 dollar saffron in it. Ha. Anyway...when I got home, he had put out the fireplace my mom got us as a wedding present. (It is fake). And on top of the fireplace was HARRY POTTER CLUE!! Yay! I love Clue! It is my favorite game and I have most of the versions. After that we had lunch and then Adam gave me a massage which was absolutely wonderful. Then we headed to Ogden to have dinner with my twin, Tanya. (Our birthdays are on the same day that is why I call her my twin.) We went to the Olive Garden and it was so much fun! After we stopped by my mom's house and looked at some wedding photos (just ones that people have posted on Facebook, hopefully the real ones will come soon.) Then we headed to Tanya and Jace's house to have some cake and ice cream which was fantastic!! It was such a great birthday! :) I also had a party the Friday before which was awesome as well! =) We played some games and got pretty competitive! Thanks everyone for the great birthday! It was the best birthday ever!!

Well now today is Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you all have had lot of good turkey and other Thanksgiving foods! =) Adam and I celebrated yesterday with a girl from work, Teresa. She had a big party at her house. It was fun and lots of yummy food! Then we played some games! =) Games are always fun! Ha!

Oh and for those who want to know about the wedding, can't forget about that! It was a pretty big day so I'll share how that went! It was perfect, absolutely perfect! The morning was a little chaotic, trying to get everything together and making sure I didn't forget anything. Then we had our rehearsal at 10:30 and that went pretty well. After that we had breakfast at IHOP and I had some yummy pumpkin pancakes which I didn't really eat a whole lot of. Then, it was off to get my hair and makeup done. That was a blast!!! Leiat did a wonderful job! If anyone needs a good hairstylist, let me know! She is great! After that it was off to Carmelle to get things set up and to get ready!! By this time I was pretty calm for the most part but I didn't have Adam's ring or my bridesmaid's presents so I paniced a little! ;) And 15 minutes before the ceremony started, I still wasn't ready! Ha! My bridesmaids dresses all needed to be steamed and that was a task all in its own! So we finally got me ready and my mom was pretty much having a heartattack! I wasn't too nervous yet but as soon as everyone started to line up, I started to freak out a little bit! I couldn't believe that it was here and that all of my dreams were coming true! Oh man! It gives me goosebumps everytime I think about it! The ceremony went off without a hitch and I didn't fall down the stairs! Thank you flip flops! =) I cried through most of the ceremony! I was so happy and I was so glad to have people there that I love! We then stood in line OUTSIDE to greet all the people who were there for the ceremony! I felt so blessed that someone was on my side and gave me a beautiful fall day to get married on! It is what I always wanted! After the line, we took some photos inside and outside and then the party started! It was so fun to mingle and meet people that Adam knew! It was just a blast but tiring! We didn't get out of there until 9:30 or 10:00. I don't remember the exact time. We went outside to get out of there and our car was completely trashed!! Ha! It was totally hilarious! Once we were ready to go, I realized that we hadn't had our marriage license signed! And that is one of the things I was worried wouldn't get done and of course I didn't think about it in the hoopla of everything! So Adam called to see if we could stop by and we found our bishop and had him sign it! Then it was off to Logan! We got there at around 12:30. It was a nice drive. And our room was beautiful and Logan was beautiful! We had a blast! =)

And for all of you who might be waiting for wedding pictures, they will be up soon! If you want to see them you are welcome to check out Facebook and a couple of my friends have posted some! And the real ones are coming soon I hope!

The night before!

It is the night before the wedding! And I feel surprisingly relaxed. I think most everything is done! I hope things are going well at the Soderborg house.

Anyway..today was a great day!! One of my bestest friends in the whole world, Kayla and her boyfriend, Marcus came out this afternoon. Adam and I picked them up at the airport around 12:30 or so! They flew in from PA! It was so good to see them!!! :) After that we met up with my dad, his wife, my half brother, and his wife. It was the first time I've met my dad's wife and my brother's wife. Overall, I have to say it was fun going to lunch with them all. I absolutely adored them! When lunch was over, Kayla and I went and did girly things while Adam entertained Marcus!! It sounds like the bonded and things went well. Kayla and I got our nails done! That was a ton of fun and it was great to catch up. Now give us another week or so and it would be like we haven't been a part for a year.

Once we were done with that, we met up with the boys and went to pick up my cousin, Dan from the airport!! I am so glad he came out! It is so great to have my family here for the occasion! I miss all the ones that couldn't be here. Especially my grandparents!

Now, I am just laying in bed realizing this is the last night I will have to spend alone. I will be spending forever with my best friend. I can't wait. I am so excited to be Mrs. Soderborg. I have the most wonderful man and I couldn't ask for anything better because there is nothing better. Wahoo!!!! I love you Adam!!! :) Thanks for all of your help through this entire process. I am pretty sure you kept me sane for the most part. Thanks for putting up with my bridezilla moments! You are absolutely amazing! And thanks you to all of our friends and family that were such a big help! We couldn't have done this without you all!! This is my last post as Christine Krell. :) Goodnight! <3

THREE MORE DAYS!!!!

Many what a journey this has been! I can't believe it is coming down to the wire! I am so excited! I can't even tell you all how I feel right now. Mostly crazy, I think. Haha. This week is definitely going to be busy as it already has been! We have been on the go constantly! It will be nice to be able to relax after this is all done!

Adam and I, went to a haunted house with Tanya and Tiffany. That was a blast! Nightmare on 13th was pretty good this year. I wasn't as scared as I thought I would have been but I liked it. It was good to see those girls too! :)

Anyway...the Ephraim party was great! Thanks Paula for putting it all together! And thanks to everyone that helped set up. It was just beautiful! :) It was fun to meet people Adam grew up with. It gave me more appreciation for what a great man Adam is! :) :) It makes me happy to see how much people just love him. I know I made a good choice! :D

Halloween was fun for the most part. It got off to a bad start but after some drama, it was fun! Adam and I went trick or treating with his niece, Madeleine. We made it for the last couple houses but it was fun to watch her! She is so cute! Also, Adam's brother, Drew and Adam's sister-in-law, Karena came along! They were a cute pumpkin family! After the little one's were tucked in and sleeping, we all watched The Burbs. It was a pretty funny movie! I had never heard of it and I was pleased!

So this week consists of: cleaning, tests, hair appts., putting together a slide show, getting our music together, picking people up from the airport, birthdays (Happy Birthday Kristina!), and A WEDDING!!! Wahoo! <3

Home stretch!!!

Oh my gosh! So the wedding is 8 days away!!! I can't believe it! Tomorrow we are going to Ephraim for an open house with all the people Adam knew growing up! I am way excited to meet everyone and see what Ephraim is like! :) Things are still pretty busy! We've been making shirts for all of the bridal party and it has their title and name on it! I finally finished those yesterday. Adam's sister, Catherine offered to make a scrapbook guest book for us for our wedding present! I am so grateful that she did because I have been stressing about what to do for the guest book. I appreciate her so much!!
We got our wedding license!! Wahoo!!! It was so much fun! Although, all we had to do was fill out a paper and then get more papers to have filled out at the wedding! Hopefully we don't forget them! There is so much to remember when all you want to be worried about is getting married. We also ordered a flower girl basket and a ring bearer pillow! It is so cute! I just got them in the mail yesterday and I love them so much!
Last weekend, I finished up my bridal showers! :) They were so fun! The one I had on Friday was thrown by Adam's aunt Laurie and it was mostly his dad's side of the family, my mom, and Emily. The theme was holiday decorations. So everyone got a different holiday and had to bring decorations for it! I was so excited for this shower because I LOVE DECORATIONS AND HOLIDAYS!!! I got some way fun stuff!!

And then Saturday, Tanya threw me a friend shower! I got to see some friends I hadn't seen in a while! It was awesome! There wasn't a theme to it but there were games! I apparently don't know Adam that well! Haha! They made me put a piece of gum in my mouth for every question I got wrong and let's just say that my jaw hurt afterwards.

Let's see what else. School and work have been pretty busy and I am looking forward to having some time off to be with my hunny. I have turned into a little bridezilla sometimes just because I am so frustrated and tired. So it will be nice to rest and relax.
I will eventually put pictures up but everytime I try the blogger won't let me do it! :( Hope everyone had a great week and have a safe and happy Halloween!!! :)

October fun

Hello! It's been a little while. Life has been so crazy busy lately. We finally got our invitations done!! :) I am so happy that they are finished. That was the biggest headache for the most part! I didn't realize how many people I knew until doing those! So now things are coming along pretty smoothly! It is just busy trying to get everything done! I can't believe it is three weeks away! It is just crazy! My bridals are done as well!!! :) And I must tell you that Tanya did a wonderful job! I think they are so beautiful besides the fact that they are of me! ;) Hehe! I love them! She is the greatest ever! I don't know how many times I can say that!

Anyway....Adam was in the hospital for the first little part of October and he was there for his birthday!! I know it was sucky to be in on his birthday but he once told me that he doesn't really celebrate too much for his birthday. But I told him that that was going to change! I love to celebrate things and decorate!! :) So I decorated his room with Halloween stuff and then put up some birthday stuff! I think he enjoyed it!

Now that we are getting down to the wire we have been getting things altered, buying stuff for the wedding, getting flowers done and all that good fun stuff. And now bridal showers are starting again! I have one on Friday and one on Saturday! I am so excited! They are going to be a blast. And Halloween is coming!! Hooray! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays next to Thanksgiving! We went to a haunted house on Tuesday with my friend Ashley, her boy friend, Bryce, and one of their friends, Cody. It was so much fun and it was nice because there wasn't a line! Go to haunted houses during the week! It is awesome! Hopefully we will go to more soon! Adam and I are going to be chef's for Halloween and a couple of girls from my work, Katie and Teresa, are having a Halloween party on Saturday! I can't wait to dress up! Yay! Hope everyone is having a great Halloween season so far!

Two of my favorite girls!

Bridals!!

Tomorrow my wonderful best friend, Tanya, is taking my bridals!!! :) I am so so so so so so excited!! It is going to be so much fun! I absolutely can't wait to wear my dress again! It has been a while since I got it and haven't really worn it or seen it!! Oh my gosh! Yay! I sure hope I can remember how to take pictures without Adam being there! It has been so long!

So the wedding is quickly approaching and it is getting to the busy, frustrating stuff! Yay! My bridesmaid dresses have been the biggest pain so far. But we finally got them ordered and they actually came in yesterday! I can't wait to see them! :) Hopefully they look good after all the stress related with them.

The next project is invitations and getting our wedding bands! Oh and our marriage license!! So much to do!! Hopefully it will all get done!

Bridal shower number 1 and the Greek Festival!

Today was my first bridal shower!!! Adam's mom's side of the family threw it for me and it was so much fun!! Adam's sister, Catherine made us the most wonderful lunch and dessert and his sister in law, Karena put together a bunch of fun games! :) After all that, I opened presents!! Adam and I got some good stuff for the house. I am way excited to start using some of it especially the cupcake book I got! Yay for more baking! Anyway...the other day, Adam and I went shopping with his mom for material for a quilt and we put that together today as well. I had never quilted before but Catherine and his mom taught me and after I caught on I really enjoyed it! I was really happy that my mom came down! Well I was really happy that everyone else came too but my mom had told me earlier that she wasn't coming but she changed her mind! Overall, it was an amazing shower! Thanks again everyone who put it together! :) It meant a lot to me! This makes me just more excited for the wedding and I can't wait to marry Adam!!! <3

After the shower, we went to pick up our invitations!!!! Wahoo!! They are getting done. Now they just have to be assembled and then they will be finished and ready to send!! :) I can't wait to see what they will look like! Then, Adam and I went to Greek Festival!! We had some very yummy food and got to see some good entertainment! I was so happy to be able to go!

That's pretty much it for now. :) Have a good week!

This segment is all about babies!!!!

I finally downloaded a bunch of pictures off my camera and guess what I found!!! Pictures of baby Adelaide! I believe I mentioned her in an earlier post. She is Adam's niece and my soon to be niece! She is just adorable and I am sad that it took me so long to get these picture on my computer! But anyway...this is a picture of Adam holding her for the first time!! He was so excited! :)
So after a while he finally gave her up and let me hold her! :) Can I just tell you that I can't wait to be an aunt!!Yay! Pictures of Miss Adelaide!! Now back to present day...

Today, I went to the zoo with Adam, his sister and brother in law and Madeleine. We weren't there for very long because it was blazing hot outside but we still had a pretty good time. We spent most of the time looking a monkeys and riding the carousel! Madeleine cracks me up though! She has quite a personality on her! And she was so excited to see me today. It made my day!

But as we were going along we found out that a lot of the animals had recently had babies!!! The tigers had three boys! But we couldn't really see them. Apparently tigers sleep 18 hours in a day. Lucky. Also, the snow leopards had a baby! We could see him! He was sleeping next to his mama.

So cute!!! :)

While we were learning about the new additions to the cat families we heard that the giraffes had a new baby as well! We then headed over that way! I think giraffes are so fascinating! And every time we see them I always have to make a reference to Melman from Madagascar. Haha.

Also, the elephants had a baby as well! But she is now out yet! We will have to wait til a later date for that!!

Wedding, Wedding, Wedding, Baptism, Wedding!!!!!! Now back to school!!

ENGAGEMENT PICTURES!!!! FINALLY!!!!!

We got our engagement pictures done!!!! Hooray!! My best friend, Tanya did a wonderful job doing them!! She took 900 pictures!!! 900!!! No joke!!! It was so much fun! We just couldn't help ourselves!! We started out with the purple outfits first. Tanya took us to her husband's grandparent's farm. We took the most pictures there! We just kept finding new places to take pictures! It was wonderful.

Then, we went to the Union Station, that is in downtown Ogden. And there is a train that has the red looking fan thing. We took some there but the light wasn't great! Tanya had the great idea to use the white picture frame!

After that we went to a duck pond that was very popular when I was in high school. We decided to wear the green outfits for that. We had fun playing in the water and playing on the little playground. :)

Now we have to do our invitations! Yay! We have a good idea of what it is going to look like but we just have to pick out a couple of our favorites to use for it. Send me your address if you read this and want an invite! :)

Anyway...a week ago I was baptized into the LDS faith. Yes! It happened. I am more shocked than anyone else, I am sure. But it was the right thing to do for myself and I have never been happier. It was such a wonderful experience. I can't even describe it but it feels good. I know a lot of people have been critical of my decision and think I am doing it for all the wrong reasons. But let me just say that I was missing something in my life and now I have found it. I have spent too much time worrying about everyone else and didn't spend enough time worrying about me. I have found a path that I feel good about going down. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make in my life. But I am happy that I did it! :)

Also, school starts tomorrow!! Woohoo. This summer went by pretty fast!! It might be because it rained most of June and didn't get warm until July. But it will be nice to have something else to keep me occupied. Haha. Hopefully I will be able to get wedding stuff done too. I think I got most of it done like I wanted to but there are a lot of small things to do!

I will try and update again soon. :)

Life the past month...

So the past month has been quite busy! Adam was in the hospital for the end of July. He was in for 2 weeks! I spent most of my time here with him and kept him company! It was fun minus the days I had to work. I would have rather been hanging out with him than working but I did come have lunch with him and popped in to say hello every so often. Oh and he gained 5 pounds! I am very proud of that fact! Let's hope he can keep it on and gain more! :)

After he got out of the hospital, I let him rest for a day and then it was time to continue with wedding plans. I am a mean fiance. Haha. We picked out a cake!! Yay! It is way cute and it is going to taste way good! I hope we'll get to eat some! Then we decided to do our registering as well. We were at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for 3 to 4 hours!!! It was insanity and we aren't even done yet!!! And then, his mother and I went to Modern Display to find flowers and such for the bouquets!! Oh and the greatest thing is that I found bridesmaid dresses!! FINALLY!!!! I was having such a hard time deciding but one of my bridesmaids went with me and we found a perfect one!! Now we need to do engagement pictures which should hopefully happen next week. :)

Anyway...this past Sunday was Adelaide's baby blessing. Adelaide is Adam's neice that was born in June! His brother and sister in law live up in Eagle Mountain so we drove up with Adam's sister, brother in law, and Adam's other neice. It was amazing and such a wonderful blessing! I am so glad I was able to be there! :)

Needless to say, it's been a busy month or so. But it has been fun! More wedding updates and pictures to come once I have some time off!

The 4th and other happenings

For the 4th of July, I went to Mona with Adam and his family. They have a big party every year to celebrate his grandpa's birthday, which is on the 4th. He has since passed but they still have the celebration. It was pretty neat. I certainly enjoyed getting away from the city and getting to know his family a little more. :) Then we came back to SLC and hung around for a little bit before we went up to Huntsman and sat on the lawn to watch fireworks all over the valley. It was pretty awesome. Also, the 5th was Skyler's birthday. I work with him at the hospital and he had to work on his birthday so we went up and said "happy birthday" and then had some cake. So yummy!!! :)

There is a lot that is going to be happening in the next little while and we've been pretty busy. Tomorrow we are finally going to meet Adam's and soon to be my niece, Adelaide. We are very excited because we haven't seen her since she was born on June 19th. They were afraid that she might have cystic fibrosis which is what Adam has. But the tests came back and she doesn't have it!!! Yay!! I am so excited!!

This coming Monday, my mom. Adam, and I are going to the place we have chosen to get married at so we can pick the cake and figure out the itnerary of the big day. That should be fun.

Then, on the 18th of July I am planning on being baptized into the LDS faith. Oh my gosh. I can't believe it is already here. This is so crazy to me. I never thought that after all these years of living in Utah that I would be converting. But here I am about to take the plunge. I am very excited and very nervous all at the same time. Time has yet to be determined but I will find out sometime soon since it is next week. If you'd like to know the whole story of why I'm converting feel free to ask. I am just too tired to write it out now. :)

Other than that all I've been doing is working, hanging out with Adam and planning the wedding. This next week I have the whole week off from work. I am looking forward to that but it will be busy with friends and wedding stuff. Woot! Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th and have a great weekend!

I have a pretty little ring on my left hand!! :)

Adam proposed!!!! Yay!!! I can't believe it! It was such a surprise!!! I have the condensed version on Facebook and a bunch of pictures on there but if you don't have Facebook I'll put some pictures up on here as well! Ü Here's the whole story...

On Friday, June 26th, our day started out with going to meet with a photographer, to see if she would take pictures at the wedding. (If you didn't know, we knew we were getting married he just hadn't proposed yet. Haha.)

Anyway...after that we went to Antelope Island to have some fun in the sun and to see if we could find the geocache that we couldn't find last time we were there in March. Geocaching involves finding coordinates that the website gives you and it should lead you to a geocache box. We have never been very successful in our geocaching adventures.

Well before that we decided to have some lunch up at their little grill and we had buffalo burgers. They were so delicious!! We learned that they get their buffalo from Wyoming and not off the island and they don't use buffalo cheese! ;)

Then we went to t
he beach and walked all the way out to the lake. I was very surprised that the lake was so low. It was kind of a long trip but we did it! Ü It was fun minus all the brine flies and shrimp. Yuck!

These writings were done on the way out to the lake.

This one is Adam's.

This is mine!

After our little hike we decided to go back to where the supposed geocache was used to be. It is just this giant rock formation that has a bunch of little cave like things. Adam is a much better climber than I am so he said he was going to go over to another area while I went another way. After a while, Adam met up with me and we started walking toward where he had been and he was looking through a hole in the rock and said "I think this goes all the way through. Let's go check out the other side." So we did and when he got over there he had found something which happened to be a geocaching box. I was so excited because we had actually found one!!!!

He handed it to me and said "wait let's take pictures of it before you open it." After that, I opened it and there was a keychain exactly like one I had bought him in San Francisco. I thought it was just a wacky coincidence. Haha. The next thing I grabbed out was a speaker that you put in to a handheld CD player so it plays out loud. I didn't know what it was at the time so I was a little confused and then I pulled out the CD player. Adam explained about the speaker but apparently it didn't work. When I picked up the CD player there was a picture of us! It was then that I started to catch on to what was going on. Apparently the ring box that was in there wasn't enough. I asked him when he did this and he said just now. He had been carrying it around in his Camelback BAG. Ü

He told me to open the ring box and so I did. In the box was a piece of paper that said TURN AROUND.
And when I did he was down on one knee and holding the ring and asked me if I would marry him!! Ü I screamed and then started crying and said YES! I was so excited! I couldn't stop screaming and jumping up and down. It was wonderful! I loved it so much!! He did it perfectly!! I would have never guessed that he was going to do it then!!!

This is the ring! It is beautiful and I love it! I can't stop staring at it all the time!! He did a really good job! It is exactly what I wanted! Ü
AHHHH!!!! WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! WOOO!!!!

Busy, busy world!

These past couple weeks have been nothing but crazy!! I can't even beginning to name all the stuff that has been happening! There has been hanging out with Adam, broken computer, babies being born, family stuff, conversion happenings, deaths, work, and wedding plans!!! Holy cow! I don't even know if I have enough room for all of my stories for the past month or so!!

Most of all I just want to say RIP Ben. You were a great guy and always kept us on our toes! I sure can't wait to see you again!! :) You will be missed here on earth though! You always brought light into my day and could always make me smile!

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer now that it is starting to get warmer outside and not raining everyday!!! Sigh! I hope to enjoy some sunshine soon! Adam and I are meeting with a photographer tomorrow and going to Antelope Island to hang out for a little bit! Ü

I will get some pictures up soon once I get my computer back (it's been in the shop for two weeks!). Have a great weekend!!

Nothing like summertime!

Can I just say how much I love the summer!?!?! Well if your answer was no, I'm sorry, but I love the summer!! It is nice to not have classes for a couple months! I am still waiting on some of my grades but the ones I have gotten are great! I am very pleased with them!

Anyway...so far this summer I have been working a couple days a week as usual! Our floor has been super slow! It is not normal for us! We usually are slow for a day or two and then fill the rooms right back out. So I got called off today! It was pretty nice!

I've also been spending a lot of time with Tanya. It has be great! :) She took me for a visit to the Salt Lake Temple. I have only been once for Christmas lights but never really explored too much or had a reason to visit. But as of lately, I have been doing some learning and research on the LDS religion. More to come on that later. :) I am glad that Tanya has been such a great friend and has been very helpful on my journey. In June, we are planning on visiting the Oquirrh Mountain Temple! I can't wait.

This is us and Ella at the temple! Ella is the little girl that Tanya nannies. She is such a cutie and we had a blast!

Also, Adam and I got
back together! :) Kind of a crazy story but it's great and we work so well together. He is wonderful and I am so glad to have him in my life. He has been a big inspiration to me! I have been spending a lot of time with him at the hospital, which is pretty fun! Now he just needs to get better and break out of there! :)

This past weekend was pretty fun as well. On Saturday, I walked in the Cystic Fibrosis walk. If you don't know what cystic fibrosis is, you should check out this website...
http://www.cff.org/
This is what I work with at the hospital. The walk was held at Wheeler Farm in Salt Lake. I had never been there before and I have to say that it is a fun place. It was also a very beautiful day! I was so happy with the turn out of people and the people who I work with that came to support CF. It was awesome! :)

After the walk, I went to see Adam and hung out with him for a bit. Then, I went to Adam's sister in law's baby shower! That was a lot of fun! His mom did a great job putting it together! So many fun games and food!

Then, I met up with Kristina, she is another good friend of mine and we had dinner to catch up some! Overall, it was an great and fulfilling day!

Well I think that is it for now! Have a great week everyone!

Finals!

Finals are finally here! Yay! It is about time! I am so ready for this semester to be over and to have a break from school. I am not taking any classes this summer. I wish they offered the classes I need to take for my emphasis because I would take them so I can finish sooner. But oh well! What can you do. I am hoping I will finish by next year. I need to find a place to do my small internship at. It hasn't been an easy process.

I am ready for the summer and some good times. Unfortunately, Adam and I are no longer together and this might be a rough start for my summer. But it'll be okay in the long run.

Life is just a crazy roller coaster and I am along for the ride. Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.

Easter Eggs!!

This is what Adam, minus the ducky, gave me for Easter. We named the duck, Thatcher and the bunny is Floppsy. :) I got the duck for him and put it in a basket with Robin Hood, the movie! And he got me the bunny and a bunch of candy and SPRINKLES! :) I love sprinkles! Now we have to find something new to make with the sprinkles!

So my favorite part of Easter, besides the fact that it the Christ's resurrection, is coloring eggs! I just absolutely love it. I don't really know why. I think it is so much fun though!

This is Adam! He didn't want to mess up his shirt so he wore a bib and struck his classic pose! :) He is so adorable!

Well my wonderful boyfriend and I had bought some coloring a while ago and didn't get to coloring eggs before Easter. But we did it right after Easter! Better late than never! :) We had such a good time with it!

We didn't have a whole lot of time to be creative with it because we had decided to go to a movie.

We saw Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D! It was such a cute movie!! I loved all the big celebrities that were in it especially Hugh Laurie! (If you don't know, I absolutely love the show House and Hugh Laurie plays House).

Anyway...after the movie was over, Adam wanted to play in the little arcade that the theater has. It was a blast!! I felt like a little kid and it was awesome! We were there til at least 1:00 am if not later!! And I had to work in the morning. I wouldn't have changed it for the world! One of our next adventures will hopefully be going to an actually arcade! :)

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the spring weather!!!

Happy Easter!!!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and got a lot of yummy goodies in their Easter baskets!! I am at work today and we had a very delicious pot luck! And now we are just goofing off while looking at silly pictures. I am glad that it is a slow day today!
Anyway..so last night I went to Adam's friends house for the birthday party! We played Bunko! It was the first time I have ever played but it wasn't too hard to catch on after a while! I really enjoyed meeting Adam's friends and getting to know him a little better! It was a blast!!
Happy Easter again! :)

Love is in the air!

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!! :)

Yay!!! I am just excited and had to share!! Adam asked me to be his girlfriend on Thursday night!! :D I am so happy! I can't even explain the feelings I have!!

We had a picnic yesterday and surprisingly the weather stayed nice for us! It was a lot of fun and then we went and watched Robin Hood! Did you know that Little John and Baloo from the Jungle Book do the same dance!?!?! (Courtesy of Adam!)

We decided to match! Sort of! We are kind of dorks like that! But it is always fun! It was especially fun trying to pick clothes that matched and having his dad help us the night before.
The last time we matched was a couple of weekends ago and we went to his friends house for a yummy dinner!! :)

I can't believe tomorrow is Easter!! Yay for being able to drink coffee!! I made it the 40 days without drinking it with the exception of when I went to San Francisco. That was just for safety purposes so I could stay awake while driving! I have to work tomorrow which kind of sucks but I will probably go to my mom's house on Monday to hang out and have Easter dinner there.

I also got to spend some time with some coworkers last night! It was a blast! I went and played Bingo with Skyler and he friends and then met up with Emily for EMIPALOOZA!!! :)

Well I am supposed to go to Adam's friends birthday party tonight! It should be fun! I'll try and keep this updated as much as possible! Have a Happy Easter!!!

Easter is fast approaching!!

Wow! So it has been a while since I have written!!! I am apparently pretty bad at updating things!!! A lot has been going on since July of last year!! But we will stick with the present stuff. I am so excited for Easter! I love Easter and the beginning of spring! It is such a happy time of the year! The weather is starting to get a little warmer! Finally!

Oh and can I just say I am really excited to be able to drink coffee again especially at work!! (I will never give it up for Lent ever again!)

I am almost done with my 4th year at the U! If only I was graduating this year! That would be so wonderful. But since I have changed my major I probably have another year and a half or less. I am shooting for less. I am thinking though that right now is a good time to just be in school because of the economic crisis that is going on right now.

Anyway... I am dating someone! It's about time, I know! His name is Adam and he is absolutely wonderful!
We have so much fun together! In this picture we were making chocolate waffle cookies! (4/7) They are my favorite cookies of all time! :)

This is us! :) Yay!

We have done a lot of fun stuff in the past month! Such as: going to the Zoo, the Planetarium, a Jazz game, Antelope Island, making different kinds of yummy cookies (I really think we need to open our own bakery!), and hanging out with friends and family. I am having the time of my life! I love it! :D We are planning on a picnic this weekend, if the weather cooperates and some birthday parties.

Well I think that is all for now! I am just trying to get through school and enjoying every moment of life as much as possible!! :) Hope everyone has a great Easter!!
