Curtis and Emily's Wedding

Adam's brother, Curtis got married on Tuesday to a wonderful girl named, Emily. It was a great day! They got married in the Salt Lake Temple and it was the first temple wedding I have been to other than my own. Then, we had a wonderful lunch at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was fun getting to know some of Emily's family.  Later that night, we went to Provo for their reception which was beautiful. It was so nice to hang out with a lot of the family and meet some new people. Here are some pictures from the temple.

Dear Baby Soderborg

This is the letter I wrote to our baby after I cheated and found out I was pregnant.


Dear Baby Soderborg,

Today I found out that you are actually in my belly. The last several weeks I wasn't sure if what I was feeling was you or if it was my imagination. We are supposed to have my blood drawn on Tuesday to find out the results but today I was cramping and I couldn't take it anymore. Two weeks is too long to wait and I have been driving myself crazy so I decided to take a pregnancy test. When I saw the word PREGNANT, I almost died! I yelled at your dad that the test said I was pregnant and he looked at me really shocked. I told him what I did and that I couldn't take it anymore.

Right now you are a twinkle in our eyes but we are so excited to have you as a part of our lives. We will love you and cherish every moment we get to be with you! You have been worth the wait! I hope that on Tuesday we still get a positive and in 9 months you will be a part of our family. You don't know it yet but so many people already love you and are so excited for you.

I wish that I could tell someone so that is why I am writing this blog! The emotion is overwhelming and I am so excited to be creating a life. Depending on what the outcome is on Tuesday, we are going to reveal the news on Thursday to your grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Baby Soderborg

Sorry for the delay in announcing how our IVF cycle!!! It just doesn't feel real some times but we are pregnant!!! We are so excited and feel so blessed to be expecting a wonderful child. I have an ultrasound next week to make sure everything is going ok.

So far I have been nauseous and tired all the time. I am also super hormonal. Haha. I am just so amazed that even though the baby is so small it can have such an effect on me already!!
We could not be more thankful for all the prayers and well wishes from all of our family and our friends! Thank you so much for being our support through this time!

Vegas 2013

Adam and I decided to get away for the weekend as a last hurrah before we do all of our IVF stuff and hopefully end up pregnant.

We had a blast. We saw some good friends, ate some delicious food and rode an awesome roller coaster at the New York New York!

Next week, we start doing the ultrasounds and then if all goes well we should be able to do the procedure the following week.

Take two...

Tomorrow starts round two of our IVF. I am starting the Lupron again. I am having mixed feelings about it right now. I am excited to get started again after having to wait for 4 months. I am also nervous because of what happened last time and there is a possibility I could get over-stimulated this time. Please pray for us as we go through this again and cross your fingers that it works. =) I will try to keep everyone updated.

It is going to be a busy couple of months in the Soderborg family!

Hospital 2013

Adam was admitted to the hospital last week! We had a pretty nasty inversion here in Utah and I think it took its toll on him. He got sick pretty quick and his PFT's were down a little bit. It has been an interesting couple of weeks. I wasn't able to be with Adam the first couple days he was here because I was working in Ogden and we had a nasty snow storm! I was frustrated because I couldn't be with him.
Anyway...here are some fun pictures of our stay.

Some more news...I have been working in Ogden at McKay Dee Hospital since August as a recreational therapist. I was working PRN (as needed) and recently was offered the position with more hours! I am so excited to be doing what I went to school for and so far it has been the best! =) I love my job and the fact that I can have a LIFE. I don't think I have really had one of those since 2005.  I also quit my job at the U and my last day was last Thursday. It was so bittersweet! I will miss my coworkers and snuggling with all the babies.
