CF Etsy Store?

Hi! I need some input from all of you!

My mother-in-law and I have been talking about creating our own Etsy shop. She already has one in place. My mother-in-laws Etsy shop (here is the link to visit the shop she has in place) But our idea was to make a bunch of things like headbands, scarves, jewelry, etc in purple and donate a portion of the sale to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We kind of came up with this idea when we were talking about Great Strides and how we could raise money for that.

So my question is do you think this is a good idea? What kind of stuff would you buy? And do you think like family and friends would buy stuff too?

It is for a good cause! I want to help my husband and friends find a cure. I was hoping that doing something like this might help create some awareness, raise some money and have the opportunity to create some cute stuff! =)

I've thought about doing something like this also in the past! My friends gave me the idea so that I could start a hobby and earn some money from it. But I know I don't have the time to do it - buuut I think that you should 100% go for it. If you do it as a fund raiser for great strides that would be an awesome idea. (PS Spencer and I would like to join your team if you're having one! ;-) and if thats ok of course!)
Jewelry - I would most def buy jewelry... maybe even a scarf... uhmmmm. creative pins or something for awareness to like put on backpacks or something... bumper sticker... magnets

Go for it girly! :) If you need any help just holler!

I think this is an awesome idea! I know that I would make purchases... probably more than I can really afford to. Etsy is my latest obsession - I bought a couple headbands one day and the rest is history. Darn that Cindy Baldwin!

I know that several of my blog/facebook friends would be interested as well. When/if you do get it up and running, I'd also love to help spread the word. So keep us posted!

I was talking to Adam about this last night but I had some ideas of some more stuff you could sell...
My brilliant idea were car seat covers. They are SUPER popular around Provo- I don't know how they go up there. But I think this is a GREAT idea.
